EPNS Push Notifications partners with EasyFi Lending Platform for Digital Assets
Who is EasyFi
EasyFi is a scalability, composability, and adoption-focused universal layer 2 lending protocol designed for DeFi. It was created as an open and inclusive financial network infrastructure that runs on public networks to make end-to-end lending and borrowing of digital assets and related financial products possible. EasyFi is based on the principles of permissionless networks and smart contract automation.
About this Partnership
Decentralized alerts will deliver real-time data to a single wallet, allowing all users to act quickly. Lenders and borrowers can compare interest rates and fees across loan platforms to find the best deal. This Partnership is set for the following:
- EPNS is building a dedicated channel for EasyFi (see our litepaper for definitions of channels, services, and more).
- EasyFi users can subscribe to the EasyFi channel to receive customized notifications to their wallets.
- Through collaboration with the EasyFi team, EPNS will gain insight into the push notification needs of users of lending platforms and what they want from the EPNS protocol.
Conclusion:
EPNS is planning to add new notification channels for EasyFi, as well as the DeFi lending market in general. Future EasyFi users will be able to make use of all products and services on the EasyFi App thanks to easy-to-configure push alerts.
The long-term goal of the pilot program is to develop a notification system for future versions of EasyFi. DeFi lending users — who can easily integrate the EPNS protocol into a wallet — will expect push notifications to be an integral service.
About Ethereum Push Notification Service
EPNS is building the world’s first open communication layer for the Web3 ecosystem, first for Ethereum and then for L2s and other blockchains. The protocol enables any smart contracts, dApps, or traditional servers to send notifications tied to wallet addresses of a user in a platform-agnostic fashion (ie: notifs can be integrated and shown on any crypto wallet, mobile apps, extension, or dApps).
